VLDocking - Licenses

VLDocking is available with dual licensing : Open Source and Commercial.

LGPL Open Source license

LGPL is the recommended license for VLDocking. It is not a viral licence, unlike GPL, and allows you to keep your application's distribution terms under control.

Of course, we also recommend you to purchase support from VLSolutions : you will benefit from a free and widely used component while keeping your assets protected against bugs and also getting top priority for submitted features enhancements.

Commercial License

With this license comes a commercially supported product and assurances from VLSolutions.

This license allows you to provide commercial software licenses to your customers, or distribute application including VLDocking within your organization. Generally speaking, this is for organizations that do not want to release their applications including an LGPL library.
